La date limite fixée pour l’envoi de vos copies à l’association est le Jeudi 19 juillet 2012 inclus.
Le 01/07/12 : Nous n’avons plus besoin d’engagements pour ce courrier. Toutes les copies ont été attribuées al hamdouliLlah.

« Bismi Llahi ArRahmani ArRahim
Assalamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatu Llahi wa barakatuhNoble brother, through this humble mail we will try to share with you a moment of beneficial meditation to urge you to stay up for part of the night, as much as possible, in order to reap the benefits and the many rewards promised by Allah for one who performs « Qiyyam al Layl » or « tahajoud » (most common name for the prayer accomplished when you wake up especially in the last third of the night.)
Upon the subject of this nightly prayer, which helps to revive faith, our Lord says: {Indeed, the hours of the night are more effective for concurrence [of heart and tongue] and more suitable for words.} (73: 6) The servant is then alone with Allah, alone with the King of kings and engages in a conversation of the most intimate and privileged nature, where he concentrates on Him with his heart and body, whilst others sleep.
This prayer is part of one of the attributes of the believers described by Allah: {They used to sleep but little of the night, And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness} (51 :17-18), {They arise from [their] beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and aspiration, and from what We have provided them, they spend.} (32: 16),
{Is one who is devoutly obedient during periods of the night, prostrating and standing [in prayer], fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, [like one who does not]? Say, « Are those who know equal to those who do not know? »} (39: 9)Allah called to His Messenger in this way: {And from [part of] the night, pray with it as additional [worship] for you; it is expected that your Lord will resurrect you to a praised station.} (17:79)
{O you who wraps himself [in clothing], Arise [to pray] the night, except for a little – Half of it – or subtract from it a little Or add to it, and recite the Qur’an with measured recitation. Indeed, We will cast upon you a heavy word.} (73: 1-5).
O Allah enable us to spend these nights in a position of prostration, grant us Your Forgiveness and Your Mercy, ameen.Many of the Sahabas, may Allah be pleased with them, reported precious words of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, which support the importance of the nightly prayer. Thus, « Our Lord (Glorified and Exalted be He) descends each night to the earth’s sky when there remains the final third of the night, and He says: ‘Who is saying a prayer to Me that I may answer it? Who is asking something of Me that I may give it him? Who is asking forgiveness of Me that I may forgive him?’ And thus He continues till [the light of] dawn shines. » [Al-Bukhari, Muslim] « The best prayer after the obligatory is the night prayer. » (Muslim).
Similarly, the pious predecessors devoted themselves to the practice of this act of worship. One day, a man asked Hassan Al-Basri : « O Abu Sa’id, why are those who pray at night the ones who have the most beautiful of faces among the people ? He replied : « Because they stay alone with the Merciful, and so He covers them with His light which appears on their faces ».
Whilst hoping to have kept you awake for a part of the night dear brother, it is with both love and shame that we end our letter.
